Heuer “Dato 45” Carrera

This is an immensely popular and attractive Heuer Carrera, taken from the “Dato 45” grouping of Carrera, so-called for the position of a date window at 9 o’clock. The Dato Carreras came in a variety of configurations, with the Dato 45 proving to be the most desirable. This example is fitted with a black dial with white register and 3 o’clock.

This Heuer Dato 45 Carrera is in excellent condition. The case is unpolished, and the original bevels are still sharp and prevalent. The dial is mint, and has no visible flaws. The original tritium lume is still present in both the dial and hands, and has aged to a lovely golden yellow color. The chapter ring shows minor fade in the lower right quadrant.
