Description
Offered here is an excellent example of a 1970s Heuer Autavia GMT, the later Reference 11630, after Heuer transitioned this model to a sapphire crystal and upgraded Calibre 14 movement. This watch is somewhat of a rarity, and highly desirable amongst collectors. Further, it comes fitted on its original Gay Freres bracelet, with correct HLF endlinks, and rarity in its own right. Included in the sale is an original instructional booklet for the Heuer Autavia GMT.
This Heuer Autavia GMT is in great condition. The case does not show signs of polishing, with thick and clearly defined edges. The dial is in great condition, with light wear visible in the registers. The original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, aged to a golden yellow. The GMT bezel is in excellent condition, with virtually no wear.
