Heuer “3646T” Autavia

Description
Offered here is an excellent example of the rare Heuer Autavia, Reference 3646T (the “T” denoting the tachymeter scale running along the edge of the dial). These Autavias, housed in steel, screwback cases, were produced in the 1960s, and were powered by the Valjoux 92 movement. This example bears the serial 84262.
This Heuer Autavia is in great condition. The case is unpolished, with beautifully beveled lugs. The dial is perfect, with no flaws, scratches, chips, etc. The original tritium lume is still present on both dial and hands, aged to a golden yellow, with only minor lume loss in the 5 o’clock plot. The crown is signed Heuer, but is a replacement.
