Up for grabs is an attractive and scarce Hamilton chronograph, often referred to as the “Poor Man’s Heuer Carrera”. This version is fitted with a desirable “panda” (white with black registers) dial, and an uncommon date window at 6 o’clock.
This Hamilton chronograph is in great vintage condition. The case is unpolished and sharp. The dial is in great condition, with only minor wear visible between 11 and 1 o’clock near the chapter ring. The original tritium lume has aged to a golden yellow color, and is still present in both hands and dial, with only minor loss to the plot at 6 o’clock.
