Hamilton "Panda" Chrono-Matic

SOLD

Hamilton “Panda” Chrono-Matic

SOLD

Description

Offered here is a beautiful example of the highly desirable “panda” dial (white with black registers) Hamilton Chrono-Matic from the 1960s.  These watches utilized the same movements as some of the automatic Heuer Autavias, the famous Calibre 11. This Chrono-Matic is in excellent condition.  The case is unpolished and sharp, with normal wear.  The dial is gorgeous, with virtually no wear. Finally, the original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, aged to a golden yellow.  The watch is fitted on a steel bracelet with Hamilton-signed buckle, but it is unclear if this is the original bracelet it was sold with.
