Description
Offered here is a very cool and uncommon Gallet chronograph, made by Racine (presumably for the American market). The watch is fitted in a large cushion case, and is powered by the EP 40-68 movement. This Gallet stands out for its grey/charcoal colored dial, accented by a striking blue bakelite bezel, with a touch of orange on the dial and chronograph sweep hand.
This Gallet chronograph is in great condition. The case appears untouched and unpolished. The dial is in excellent condition, with only the slightest of wear between the 4 and 5 o’clock markers. The original tritium lume is still present in both dial and hands, aged to a yellow hue.
