Up for grabs is an incredibly rare Gallet (produced by Racine) “Excel-O-Graph” chronograph, made circa mid-1960-1970s. These watches were made for scientific use, aviation, navigation, etc., and utilized a slide-rule rotating bezel for precise calculations. According to Gallet, when this watch debuted, it was one of the most precise watches available on the market.
This example is in great vintage condition. The case does not appear polished, or if it was, it was done very lightly. The dial is mint, with no flaws or marks. The original lume is still present on the dial, aged to a golden yellow; the hands have been relumed at some point in the past.
