Description
Up for grabs is a Doxa Sub 300T “Professional” dive wristwatch, produced during the 1970s, fitted with a rare and desirable orange “AquaLung – U.S. Divers Co.” dial. Doxa is a very well-known dive-watch brand, known for many innovations in the field, including the implementation of the Helium Release Valve and the expanding diver’s clasp. Doxa dive watches were sold in the United States under exclusive license by US Divers Co./Aqualung – the dive equipment outfit owned by Jacques Cousteau.
This Doxa Divingstar is in mint condition. The case is unpolished and sharp. The dial is immaculate, with no flaws visible. Further, the original tritium lume is present on the dial, aged to a golden yellow; the hands have been professionally color matched to the dial.
