Croton “Clamshell” Chronograph

Description

This is a striking and rare Croton “Clamshell” chronograph. The watch is housed in a 3-piece, waterproof case, used in the 1940s by various brands very sparingly. This particular example features a stunning, two-tone dial, and 2 colors of print.

This Croton chronograph is in amazing condition. The case is unpolished and razor sharp. The dial is virtually flawless, with no noticeable blemishes. The original lume is still present and has aged to a warm orange patina.
