Audemars Piguet “Two-Tone 14486TR” Royal Oak

Up for grabs is a very rare and transitional Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, Reference 14486TR, produced for a very short time in the 1980s.  This reference is transitional between the reference 4100 and the 14790, and retains the vintage look and fonts of the 4100, but with an upgraded movement that would carry over in to the reference 14790. Further, this particular example was housed in one of our favorite (and rarest) metal combinations: tantalum and rose gold!

This Audemars Piguet Royal Oak is in excellent condition, with a razor sharp case, and perfect dial and lume.  The bracelet appears to be fully-linked, and will fit a large wrist, with a stiff clasp, seemingly rarely used.
