Audemars Piguet “56175SP” Royal Oak

Up for grabs is a very rare Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, reference 56175SP, circa 1990s.  This reference was made in a 33mm case and with AP’s Caliber 2612 quartz movement.  However, what makes this watch special is the combination of metals used in the production of the watch: stainless steel and platinum.  Paired with a gloss black dial and steel applied roman numerals, this Royal Oak is truly stunning and sleek. This particular Audemars Piguet Royal Oak is in excellent vintage condition.  The case is very sharp and with lovely beveled edges.  The dial is free of any flaws, and likewise, the original tritium lume remains present on both dial (with minor loss to the 4 o’ clock plot) and hands, aged to a nice warm yellow color.  The bracelet shows no stretch, and appears fully linked.
