Up for grabs is a very rare and stunning Rolex Datejust, Ref. 1601, an 18kt yellow gold wristwatch, dating to 1971, and is fitted with a rare “Lapis Lazuli” stone dial. The reference 1601 is the earliest iteration of the Datejust to use stone dials, and are amongst the most coveted by collectors.
The condition of this Rolex Day-Date is great. The case has been lightly detailed in the past, showing thick and even lugs. The Lapis stone dial is in perfect condition, with no cracks or marks.
