SOLD
Description
Offered here is a very mint and attractive Rolex GMT-Master II, Ref. 16710, circa 2002. This example is in excellent neo-vintage condition. The case is unpolished and very sharp, with original beveled edges, and the caseback still retains its original caseback sticker. The dial is free of damage, with no chips, marks, or scratches, and retains its factory gloss. The original lume is present in both dial and hands, with no loss. The watch comes fitted on a 78790A bracelet with SEL endlinks; the bracelet has 12 full links and no stretch.
This watch comes to us from the original owner out of Arizona (found on Craigslist, no less!), who claims he sparingly used it over the years, and the condition shows. While clearly used, it remains in impeccable condition for its age. The watch comes with its original Rolex box, hangtag (with serial printed), brochures, and Warranty Certificate; however, the Certificate serial number not match the watch. According to the original owner, the watch was purchased by him from Neiman Marcus (as evidenced by a sales receipt from them), and this was the Warranty Certificate they gave him, clearly in error, which he never verified.
