Nivada Grenchen Datomaster

Up for grabs is the mythical Nivada Grenchen Datomaster, produced circa 1960s.  The Datomaster has been something of a white whale amongst collectors of quirky chronographs, often being very difficult to track down.  Nivada Grenchen recently launched a re-edition of the Datomaster, bringing back to life the popular model, adorned for its sleek design and interesting placement of a date window at 12 o’clock, similar to certain Heuer Dato-Carrera models of the same era.  This particular Nivada Grenchen Datomaster is in great vintage condition, with a razor sharp and unpolished case, beautiful dial with no major flaws, and original tritium lume on dial and hands, aged to a lovely yellow.  Please Note: the winding crown appears to have been replaced in the past.
