Description
Up for grabs is the immensely popular Reference A386 Zenith El Primero chronograph. According to the in-depth research done over at Alpha Hands, who provide an amazing reference guide for the A386, we know that only 2,500 examples of the A386 reference were produced during this time, between 1969 and 1971. Featuring a tri-color dial and straight-lug case, this watch is a true classic, which is why Zenith reissued it several years back. This particular example has a serial of 706Dxxx, making it a 2nd execution (MK2).
This Zenith El Primero is in excellent condition. The case is sharp with original beveled edges, clearly never polished in the past. The dial is free of any major flaws or marks. The original tritium lume is still present on both dial and hands, aged to a dark yellow/green color.
