Up for grabs is a very attractive example of the popular Rolex “Red Sub” Submariner, Reference 1680. Bearing a serial of 2.6 million, this watch dates the watch to 1970, and has a “feet first” “MK4” dial.
This Rolex “Red” Sub is in great vintage condition. The case shows thick and even lugs, and has been lightly polished in the past. The dial is beautiful, with no chips, scratches, marks, etc. The original tritium lume is still present on both dial and hands, with a nice cream color. The watch comes on a Rolex folded-link 7836 bracelet with 380 endlinks, dated to 1972, in very nice condition with 11 full links and light stretch.
