Up for grabs is an early Tudor “Snowflake” Submariner, circa 1969 (73xxxx), reference 7021/0. Tudor is better known as the “sister” brand to Rolex – originally formed as a more affordable alternative to that of a Rolex. In recent years, Tudor has exploded in popularity amongst collectors, with prices often eclipsing those of their Rolex counterparts. This example is a highly sought-after “Snowflake” Submariner, so-called for the snowflake-like appearance of the hour hand, and with a desirable blue dial and bezel combination.

This Tudor Submariner is in great vintage condition. The case has been professionally polished to mimic the appearance of how it would look as released from the factory, with nice and sharp beveled edges. The dial is in excellent condition, with no flaws, chips, etc. The original tritium lume is present on the dial, aged to a golden yellow color; the hour and minute hand have been professionally color-matched to the dial (the seconds hand retains its original tritium lume).

Finally, the watch comes on a Rolex Oyster 78360 bracelet with 580 endlinks, and has 11 full links and light stretch.
