Universal Geneve “Nina Rindt” Compax

Description

One of, if not the most sought after Universal Geneve chronograph watch is the one you see before you today. Dubbed the ÒNina RindtÓ, after a picture of the the model-wife of racecar driver Jochen Rindt wearing one started making the rounds on the web, this Valjoux 72 powered chronograph is one that collectors salivate over.

This Nina is an early (1st execution) version of the model with the applied UG logo, and is in great vintage condition. The bezel is largely untouched, and the dial is very clean. The caseback is in great condition, with all serial numbers still present and visible. The case appears unpolished.

The watch also comes fitted on the original bracelet, with correct endlinks, which is possibly harder to find than the actual watch these days!
