SOLD
Description
Up for grabs is a lovely example of the incredibly popular Rolex “Zenith” Daytona, so-called for its movement made by the brand, Zenith. Rolex introduced the automatic movement chronograph in 1987, using a movement manufactured by Zenith, as it was the industry’s only self-winding chronograph movement that met Rolex’s high quality standards. This particular example dates to 1997, and was made in two-tone steel and gold, bearing the reference 16523, and featuring a matching champagne dial.
This Rolex Daytona is in amazing vintage condition. The case is razor sharp and unpolished, and still retains its original caseback sticker. The dial is in mint condition, with no flaws, and likewise for the lume. The bezel shows no detail/color loss.
Finally, the watch comes on its original Rolex 78393/403 Oyster bracelet, with 12 full links, and no stretch.
