Patek Philippe “5040R” Perpetual Calendar

Offered here is a very beautiful Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar watch, reference 5040R, in rose gold.  While not a “rare” reference in-and-of itself, finding the 5040R in 18kt rose gold can be difficult, as most are in yellow gold or platinum. The reference 5040 was introduced by Patek Philippe in 1992, and is essentially a 3940 in a tonneau-shaped case; while the 3940 has exploded in popularity, the 5040 has remained overlooked, and represents tremendous value in the perpetual calendar Patek world. 

This Patek Philippe perpetual calendar features a sleek white dial with applied Arabic numerals, and remains in nice pre-owned condition, remaining unpolished, albeit worn from use – the watch can be detailed upon request.
