Offered here is an incredible example of a Rolex Submariner, featuring the date window at 3 o’clock, the Reference 1680. This Submariner dates to 1977, in the middle of production for the “white” 1680s. This Rolex Submariner is in excellent vintage condition. The case appears unpolished and sharp, with beveled egdes still visible. The dial is in excellent condition, with no flaws, chips, marks, etc. The tritium lume is original and present on both the dial and hands, aged to a striking pumpkin/dark yellow color. The original and period correct bezel insert is in likewise good condition, with no visible wear.
The watch comes fitted on a Rolex Oyster 93150 bracelet with 580 endlinks, and has 10 full links with no stretch.
