Up for grabs is an exemplary example of a Reference 1675, Rolex “GMT-Master”. The serial of this GMT-Master is 54xxxxx, dating this watch to 1978, and it features an “MK5” dial. The watch itself is in excellent condition. The case does not show signs of polishing, with thick lugs and original bevels visible, but has been worn. The dial is near mint, with no major flaws; under a loupe there are tiny tool marks above the handset, albeit barely visible. The original tritium lume is still present on the dial and hands, aged to a gorgeous yellow patina. Finally, the original “Pepsi” insert is in great condition, aged to a striking faded and pink color.
The watch comes fitted on a Rolex Oyster 78360 bracelet, with 580 endlinks, and has 11 links with no stretch. A previous owner has engraved his initials behind 3 of the links, which can be removed upon request.
