Up for grabs is a lovely example of a Reference 1675, Rolex “GMT-Master”, with a rare MK2 (Mark 2) dial, only used for a short period of time in the early 1970s. The serial of this GMT-Master is 29xxxxx, dating this watch to 1971.
The watch itself is in excellent condition. The case appears lightly polished, with thick and even lugs. The dial is devoid of any chips, scratches, or flaws, and is in excellent condition. The original tritium lume is still present on the dial and hands, aged to a nice cream yellow color. Finally, original “redback” Pepsi bezel insert is in excellent condition, with no wear.
The watch comes fitted on a Rolex Oyster 78360/580 bracelet, with 11 full links, and light stretch.
