Up for grabs is a gorgeous example of a gilt-dial Rolex Submariner, Ref. 5513, circa 1966 (1.5m serial). The watch is in fantastic condition. The case is unpolished, with factory bevels, still incredibly sharp and prominent. The dial is beautiful and super glossy, with very light wear, only visible under a loupe, and retains the factory “mirror”-like finish. The original tritium lume is present on the dial and hands, matching and aged to a golden yellow. The bezel insert is correct for the era, and has minimal wear. The watch comes on its original 7206 Rolex rivet bracelet, with 82 endlinks, and is in great condition with no stretch, and 12 full links.
