SOLD
Description
Up for grabs is a lovely example of a Reference 1675, Rolex “GMT-Master”, with a rare MK2 (Mark 2) dial, only used for a short period of time in the early 1970s. The serial of this GMT-Master is 33xxxx, dating this watch to 1972-73. The watch is a “full-set”, coming with its original inner and outer box, and “punched warranty certificate”, and Rolex green card holder with original serial number.
The watch itself is in excellent condition. The case appears unpolished, with original beveled edges still visible, albeit worn. The dial is devoid of any chips, scratches, or flaws, and is in excellent condition. The original tritium lume is still present on the dial and hands, aged to a beautifully cream, yellow color. The original “redback” Pepsi insert is in excellent condition, with no wear.
The watch comes fitted on a Rolex folded link 7836/380 bracelet, with 13 full links, and light stretch.
