Description
Up for grabs is a 1980s Rolex Explorer I, Reference 1016, with its original box, “punched” warranty certificate, and receipt, as sold by the famous retailer Bucherer. This particular Explorer is in great condition. The case has been previously polished, but still retains thick and even lugs. The dial is gorgeous, with no visible damage. The original tritium lume is present on the dial, aged to a vibrant and golden yellow color; the hands have been professionally color-matched to the dial. The watch comes equipped on a Rolex Oyster 78360/580 bracelet, with 11 full links and minimal stretch.
