Description
Offered here is a very attractive example of a no-date Rolex Submariner, Ref. 5513, circa 1987, with a “gloss/white-gold surround” dial, which was the last dial variation of the Reference 5513 before being discontinued a few years later. In addition, this Submariner comes complete with its original Rolex box and Warranty Certificate.
This Rolex Submariner is in excellent vintage condition. The case is unpolished and sharp, with nice original beveled edges, worn naturally from use. The dial is in extremely attractive, with no chips, spidering, etc., with some natural matting/aging to the dial. The original tritium lume is still present, aged to a nice creamy color on both dial and hands. The bezel insert is correct for this period of Submariner, with virtually no wear. The watch comes on a flip-lock 93150/580 bracelet, with 10 full links, and negligible stretch.
