Rolex Daytona, Ref. 6265

Up for grabs is a great example of the iconic Rolex Daytona. This example has a serial of 355xxxx, dating it to 1972. The watch comes fitted on a 7835 (1971) bracelet with 10 links and 271 endlinks.

This Rolex Daytona is in excellent condition. The case has thick, sharp, and even lugs, and only shows signs of light polishing. The dial is mint condition, with no chips, scratches, flaws, etc. The lume on the dial is original, with only minor loss in the 3 and 9 o’clock markers. The hands are likely service replacements. The bezel shows no loss of detail, and is in great shape. The caseback has a light engraving, likely given to the original owner as a gift.
