This is a very beautiful example of a Rolex Day-Date in 18kt Yellow Gold, Reference 1803, dating to 1971, fit with a rare brown “confetti” dial, accented by diamond markers. The case is in excellent condition, with thick and even lugs, and has developed a lovely and rich patina. The confetti dial is in excellent shape, with no wear or damage, and the original tritium lume is present on the dial and hands, aged to a dark yellow/green color. These classic Day-Dates have soared in popularity as of late, and they encompass a perfect every day watch, suitable for both casual and dressy occasions.
