Up for grabs is a very nice example of a no-date Rolex Submariner, Ref. 5513, circa 1971 (2.9m serial), which is the first batch of the “feet first” dial iteration (called the “non-serif” dials). This Submariner is in great condition. The case appears unpolished, with normal wear, with thick and even lugs, and the original bevels are still present in the lugs. The dial is in great condition, with no chips, or major wear, with the exception of one minor tool mark near the base of the hands, only visible under a loupe/at an angle. The original lume is still present in the hands and dial, aged to a vibrant yellow color. The bezel insert is correct for this period of Submariner, and in great condition. The watch comes on a Rolex C&I stretch-rivet bracelet, dated to 1967, in excellent condition with no stretch, and with 11 full links.
