SOLD
Description
Up for grabs is a very attractive example of a no-date Rolex Submariner, Ref. 5513, circa 1970 (2.6m serial), which is the first batch of the “feet first” dial iteration (called the “non-serif” dials). This Rolex Submariner is in great condition. The case appears likely unpolished, with normal wear and thick and even lugs; also, the original bevels are still present in the lugs. The dial is in great condition, with no chips, scratches, or marks; the original lume is still present in the hands and dial, aged to a cream yellow color, with a slightly lighter shade of yellow in the hands. The bezel insert is correct for this period of Submariner, and in great condition. The watch comes on a flip-lock 93150/580 bracelet, with 13 full links, and very light stretch.
