Description
Up for grabs is an uncommon Rolex Day-Date, Ref. 18078, which was transitional from the Reference 1803, introducing the “single quick-set” function, which allows the owner to quickly just the date via the crown. This example dates to 1982, and is fitted with a rare “wood” dial.
The condition of this Rolex Day-Date is very good. The case has been lightly polished in the past, but retains thick and even lugs. The dial is in great condition, with no cracks to the lacquered finish of the wood dial.
The watch comes on its original bark hidden-clasp 18kt Rolex Swiss bracelet, with light stretch, and 6 removable screws, fitting an approximate 8″+ wrist.
