Offered here is an excellent example of a Rolex Submariner, featuring the date window at 3 o’clock, the Reference 1680. This Submariner has a serial of 56xxxxx, dating it to 1978. This Rolex Submariner is in great vintage condition. The case has been lightly polished in the past, but shows thick and even lugs, and original bevels still visible. The dial is perfect, devoid of any flaws whatsoever. The tritium lume is original and present in both dial and hands, aged to a creamy color. The bezel insert is period correct for the reference and is missing the pearl.
The watch comes fitted on a flip-lock thick bracelet, with 93150/580 endpieces/endlinks, 12 links in total, and with minimal stretch.
