Description
Up for grabs is a very attractive example of the popular Rolex “Red Sub” Submariner, Reference 1680. Bearing a serial of 2.6 million, this dates the watch to 1970, and has a “feet first” “MK5” dial.
This Rolex “Red” Sub is in great vintage condition. The case is thick and even, with original beveled edges, showing normal wear from us. The dial is beautiful, with no chips, scratches, marks, etc. The original tritium lume is still present on both dial and hands, with a nice yellow color. The watch comes on a Rolex Oyster flip-lock 93150 bracelet with 580 endlinks, and has 10 full links with no stretch.
