Description
Up for grabs is a very attractive example of the popular Rolex “Red Sub” Submariner, Reference 1680. Bearing a serial of 3.8 million, this dates the watch to 1973, and has a “feet first” “MK4” dial.
This Rolex “Red” Sub is in great vintage condition. The case appears unpolished, with original beveled edges, albeit lightly worn from use. The dial is beautiful, with no chips, scratches, marks, etc. The original tritium lume is still present on both dial and hands, with a nice yellow color. The watch comes on a Rolex Oyster folded-link 7836 bracelet with 380 endlinks, in good condition with light stretch and 13 full links.
