Up for grabs is a Rolex GMT-Master, Ref. 16750, circa 1986. The reference 16750 was a transitional reference for Rolex, from the 1675, which introduced their new Caliber 3075 movement, and changed the date function to a quick-set. Further, this example has a “gloss” dial, which was Rolex’s departure from their traditional “matte” dial. This Rolex GMT-Master is in excellent condition. The case appears unpolished and sharp, with original chamfers/beveled edges present. The dial is in great condition, with no major wear visible, and only one small hairline below 1-2 o’clock, visible only at an angle. The original tritium lume, present on the dial, aged to a golden yellow color; the hands have been professionally color-matched to the dial. The “all-black” insert is in good condition, with no wear. The watch comes equipped on an original Rolex Oyster 78360/580 bracelet, with 12 full links, and minimal stretch.
