SOLD
Description
Up for grabs is a lovely example of the incredibly popular Rolex “Zenith” Daytona, so-called for its movement made by the brand, Zenith. Rolex introduced the automatic movement chronograph in 1987, using a movement manufactured by Zenith, as it was the industry’s only self-winding chronograph movement that met Rolex’s high quality standards. This particular example dates to 1991, and co-signed by the retailer Tiffany & Co., for sale directly in their stores.
This Rolex Daytona is in great vintage condition. The case does not show any evidence of being polished in the past – if it was polished, it was done very lightly. The dial is in mint condition, with no flaws, and likewise for the lume.
Finally, the watch comes on its original Rolex 78360 Oyster bracelet with 503 endlinks, and has 12 full links, and no stretch.
