SOLD
Description
Offered here is an uncommon and unique Omega Speedmaster “Moonwatch”, circa 1980s, housed in two-tone steel and gold, given the specific reference 145.022DD. These rare two-tone Speedmasters were likely produced by Omega between 1983 to 1986 in very small quantities, although the exact production figure is unknown, and very few come to market every year. This example does not appear polished, with thick and beefy lugs, and clearly defined beveled lugs. The dial is in great condition, with no major wear. The original tritium lume is still present in both dial and hands, aged to a nice yellow on the dial, and matching in the hands. The original two-tone bezel is in good condition, with only one ding on the lefthand side. The serial number is in correct range for this reference. Further, the watch comes on an original Omega Speedmaster two-tone 1171/633 bracelet with 812 endlinks, with normal stretch.
