Omega Speedmaster “Pre-Moon” Chronograph

Description
Up for grabs is an excellent example of an Omega Speedmaster, of the so-called “Pre-Moon” models, Reference 105.012-65, circa 1965, with a correct serial range of 24xxxxx. This example is in beautiful vintage condition. The case has likely been lightly polished, but the lugs are still very thick and even, with original bevels present in the lugs; there are no tool marks on the caseback. The dial is perfect, with no blemishes. The original tritium lume is still present in both hands and dial, aged to a striking golden yellow color. The original crystal is still present, signed with the Omega logo in the center. The original and correct “DON” (Dot Over Ninety) bezel is in excellent shape, with only minor wear. The winding crown is a replacement.
