Omega Seamaster Chronograph

SOLD

Description

Up for grabs is a very attractive and minty Omega Seamaster chronograph, the reference 145.016-68, circa 1968.  Built during a transitional period for Omega, this chronograph features their brand new Caliber 861 movement, transitioned from the Caliber 321.  This particular example features a “reverse panda” dial, meaning it has a black backdrop and is contrasted by white registers.  Further, the watch is accented by a “radial”-style printing of the numbers in the registers and a splash of color with the orange chronograph hand.  The watch itself is in excellent vintage condition.  The case is unpolished and sharp.  Further, the dial is devoid of any flaws, and in mint condition; the original Omega-signed crystal remains in tact, with some light scuffs from wear.  The original tritium lume remains present in both dial and hands, aged to a nice yellow color.  Finally, the watch comes fitted on an Omega No.12 steel bracelet, also in good condition with minimal wear.
