Omega “3570.50” Speedmaster

SOLD

Description

Offered here is a rare transitional Omega Speedmaster, Reference 3570.50, transitional due to the movement being one of the last Caliber 861s produced with 18 jewels, before their switch to the silver-decorated Caliber 1861.  This example dates to 1997, and the original Omega Warranty Card is included in the sale, dating the actual date of sale to July 29, 1997.  The condition of this Omega Speedmaster is excellent.  The case is unpolished and sharp.  The dial has no flaws, and is in mint condition.  The original tritium lume is present on both the dial and hands, aged to a golden yellow color.  The original Omega 1499/842 bracelet is likewise in good condition, with minimal wear.  Further, the watch retains its original red-wax seal on the outside of the caseback.
