Mathey-Tissot Two-Tone Chronograph

SOLD

Description

This is a very rare Matthey Tissot chronograph, circa 1940s. The watch features a gilt galvanic printed dial, in two-tone grey (that appears bluish in certain light) and black color. The watch comes equipped with a Lemania CH27 based movement, which would be used to make the Omega Cal. 321 movement as well.

The watch itself is in very nice condition. The dial is beautiful, and has minor staining near the 11 o’clock marker and between 1-2 o’clock. The case has been lightly polished, but retains its original edges. The steel hands contrast well against the grey dial.
