Louis Vuitton “LV2” Monterey II

Up for grabs is a watch that took the world by storm in 2023, even though it was first created back in the 1980s! Once overlooked, this Louis Vuitton Monterey II – the second watch LVMH created, designed by famous Italian designer Gae Aulenti – has soared in popularity as LVMH enters the serious horological space, headed by Jean Arnault.  The LV2 has adorned the wrists of many famous collectors, such as Tyler the Creator, and has earned its place as an interesting part of horological history, with a unique design, ceramic case, and IWC-powered quartz movement.  Recently, LVMH teamed up with powerhouse indie watchmaker Rexhep Rexhepi, creating one of the best watches of 2023, largely inspired from this original LV2 – we suspect LVMH will reimagine this classic watch sometime soon.

This LV2 remains in great condition, with no wear to the case or dial, and fully-functional (so many are broken and unable to be restored), and remains on its original LV brown leather strap and gold LV buckle.
