Offered here is an attractive example of a 1940s Longines oversized time-only, “Calatrava”-style watch. This watch was very large for the era, coming in at 37mm, and wears like a contemporary watch. This example is fitted with an arabic-numeral dial, with blued hands. This Longines watch is in excellent condition, with a very sharp case, lightly polished in the past, and a beautiful dial, with light wear/patina, consistent with the aging specifically of these snapback-case Longines watches of this era.
