IWC "812 AD" Aquatimer

SOLD

IWC “812 AD” Aquatimer

SOLD

Description

Offered here is a rare IWC Aquatimer, circa 1960s, bearing the reference 812 AD.  The “two crown” waterproof “EPSA” cases were first developed by Enicar in the early 1960s, and the cases were used by a variety of brands, including IWC.  These watches were produced over three references with a few different dial variations, with silver dial and black ring being one of the rarest variants made. This IWC Aquatimer is in fantastic vintage condition.  The case appears unpolished, with normal wear through the years.  The dial and original tritium lume are in mint condition, with no wear or loss.
