SOLD
Description
Up for grabs is an exceptionally rare, beautiful, and well-preserved pre-Jack Heuer chronograph, circa 1940s. The watch features the early “squashed” logo, a correct unsigned movement and caseback, and a stunning two-tone and tri-color dial with “big eyes” (oversized registers). These watches are hard to come by, especially in this condition.
Speaking of which, the condition of this Heuer chronograph is excellent. The steel case is completely unpolished and untouched. The dial is in great condition, having aged to a light-cream patina color, and only very slight blemishing in the center of the dial.
These watches are very difficult to find – in fact, this is only the second of this style that we have sold to date. Finding them in this condition is an even rarer feat!
