Heuer “Big Eyes” Pre-Carrera Chronograph

Offered here is an attractive “Pre-Carrera” Heuer chronograph, produced circa 1950s. This Heuer is housed in a case similar to that of a Ref. 2444, and donates stylistic elements to what would later form the basis for Heuer’s tremendous Carrera line. This example features a lovely white dial, with matching “big eyes” registers.

This Heuer chronograph is in great condition. The case appears untouched and unpolished, and only shows minor plate loss to the non-pusher profile side of the case. The dial is in relatively perfect condition, with no flaws or blemishes present. The original lume is still present in both the dial and hands, and has aged to a lovely golden yellow color.
