SOLD
Description
This is an amazing example of the highly desirable “panda” dial (white with black registers) Hamilton Chrono-Matic from the 1960s. However, this watch was branded/produced by Buren, famously known for producing the Calibre 11, 12, etc., movements for Heuer, Hamilton, and others. As such, these watches utilized the same movements as some of the automatic Heuer Autavias, the famous Calibre 11. This Chrono-Matic is incredible, in true “LNOS” (like new old stock) condition. The case is unpolished and sharp, with seemingly no wear, or even any tool marks/scratches on the caseback. The dial is flawless, with no wear. Finally, the original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, aged to a golden yellow, with nice puffy lume plots.
This is a true collector’s grade watch! For an excellent write-up on these stellar watches, head over to Fratello Watches here.
