Description
Up for grabs is a rare, stunning, and oversized 37mm Audemars Piguet time-only Calatrava-style wristwatch, housed in an 18kt yellow gold case, produced circa 1940-1950s. The watch features a rare center sweep seconds configuration, and is powered by a rare and important AP VZSC movement.
The watch is in near-mint condition. The case is incredibly sharp, and does not appear to have been polished in the past. Further, the original dial is in excellent condition, with the only most minor of wear (a couple small spots). The watch comes with its original Audemars Piguet gold buckle.
