Audemars Piguet “25720BA” Star Wheel

Up for grabs is a highly popular and unique design from the maker Audemars Piguet, circa 1990s.  Taking a design cue from the wandering hours complication which dates back to the 17th century, the Star Wheel displays the time by using three sapphire disks that rotate along the top of the dial.  This particular Star Wheel is a reference 25720BA, housed in 18kt yellow gold, and fitted with the more popular non-engraved, guilloche dial.  The condition on this Audemars Piguet Star Wheel is excellent, with a sharp (seemingly unpolished) case and hallmarks, and perfect dial.  Further, the watch is fit on its original black leather Audemars Piguet strap and matching yellow gold AP buckle.
